Community Health Awareness Day Reaches 500+ Residents

On a Saturday in February, YRO teamed up with the local health office to host a free community health awareness day at the central market in Mpanda. The event reached more than 500 residents, who took part in free screenings, received health education materials, and met with local healthcare professionals.

Key topics covered included reproductive health, mental wellness, and noncommunicable disease prevention — all priority areas in YRO's health awareness program.
